What makes it a Rhody Gem?
My Paris Maison is the latest enterprise of Toni Chandler and Will Dewey, entrepreneurs with eyes for beauty via a distinctly French lens. The former shingled dairy barn that most recently housed the first iteration of Sweet Marie’s Tea Cottage – as well as an earlier version of Chandler’s shop – has connected with the adjacent property, resulting in a large inviting space with brocante vibes. Francophiles will enjoy exploring artful displays of antique furnishings and Brimfield finds, mixed with new accents, paper goods, textiles, and provisions in every nook and corner. Potted plants, topiaries, and flowers, too. “Every piece tells a story,” says Chandler. “Merci to our wonderful customers for your support, loyalty, and love for My Paris Maison,” she said at the late-spring opening. “You are the heart of everything we do.”
