In a city that thrives on creativity and calm, there’s always room for more balance – and Jala Studio Yoga & Art is answering that call with a brand-new space in Pawtucket.

The Providence-based yoga studio, known for its thoughtful blend of movement and mindfulness, officially opens its second location at 727 East Avenue. Just steps from the Providence line and nestled near Blackstone Boulevard, the new studio promises to be a peaceful haven for yogis of all experience levels.

“We are thrilled to bring Jala to Pawtucket and expand our offerings to a broader community,” says owner and instructor Bristol Maryott, an advanced-certified Jivamukti and Ashtanga yoga teacher. “We hope everyone can find this a welcoming space where both new and experienced yogis can come together to explore their practice.”

Since opening its original South Main Street studio in 2014, Jala has grown into a trusted name in Rhode Island’s wellness scene. The expansion to Pawtucket reflects a rising demand for expert instruction in a supportive, inclusive setting. The new location continues Jala’s tradition of integrating art and yoga, offering not only daily classes but also curated exhibitions that reflect yogic philosophy and aesthetics.

“There are many benefits to yoga– flexibility, strength, balance – but it’s also about finding peace of mind,” Maryott says. “It’s important to do the poses under the watchful eye of a trained instructor to ensure they are being done correctly.” For schedules, class passes, and upcoming events, visit Jala-Studio.com or call 401-594-YOGA.
