Now through July 21: Experience Newport’s historic International Tennis Hall of Fame as top ATP World Tour pros compete in the 2019 Hall of Fame Open for the Van Alen Cup. This is the only tournament to be played on grass courts outside of Europe, and offers you the opportunity to see professional men’s tennis before the US Open.

Now through July 21: Come watch amazing moves at the 2019 Newport Dance Festival. Don’t miss out on the choreography showcased by dance companies from all over the world. 

Now through July 28: Enjoy some of the concerts and events the Newport Music Festival has to offer in the Gilded Age mansions.


July 18: Get your tickets for a Comedy Night presented by Mariner Grille in Narragansett with special performances by James Dorsey, Pat Napoli, John Perrotta, & Joanna Rapoza. Cocktail hour and dinner to follow.

July 19: Celebrate the end of the week at Roger Williams Park Carousel Village for Food Truck Friday, from 5-8:30pm. Enjoy offerings from over 15 locally owned food trucks, sip on local beer, and take a spin on the historic carousel.

July 19-20: Tour Lippitt House, which has one of the best preserved interiors in America. Experience its Victorian design while learning about the history of Providence. Guided tours run on the hour from 12-3pm.

July 20: The Craft Brew Races are a series of 5ks open to beer lovers. After the race, celebrate with samples from over 30 breweries, live music, and food trucks. 

July 20: Head to Providence and experience an out-of-this-world WaterFire celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Moon landing.

July 20: Support the talented vendors at the 32nd Arts and Artisan Festival in Tiverton Four Corners. Admission is free and there will also be live music and food trucks.

July 20: At gallery and showroom venue House of Cach, witness a showcase of artistic fashion at Unveiled, where beauty is truly represented as art in the form of textiles, jewelry, and photography. 

July 20: Come to the Courthouse Center of the Arts to see Shokazoba, a progressive jazz fusion band with a mission to inspire awareness of Afrobeat.

July 20-21: Attend the Rhode Island Renaissance Faire, which centers its two days of celebration, stunts, music, and food on “Empowering Women Through the Arts.” The event takes place at Esek Hopkins Park, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to a cause within women’s issues.

July 21: Join Ninny Nothin’ and Danuel Duel on The Rooftop in Providence for the Surge- LGBTQ+ Tea and Dance- “Beach Bash!” where you can listen to music and splash around in an inflatable pool! 

July 21: This Sunday, come to the SKLT Car Show at South Kingstown Land Trust Barn to view all kinds of automobiles such as cars, fire trucks, and motorcycles from the 1920s to the 1980s.
