The book club at Wingate Residences on the East Side will meet to discuss "Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine" by Gail Honeyman on Tuesday, May 28 at 3:30 p.m. Named a New York Times Bestseller, the novel inspires compassion as readers follow the fictional tale of the protagonist, Eleanor, who rediscovers the value of relationships. Though the story explores dark themes, the tone is lightened by the whimsical value of Eleanor’s character and the adventures she undertakes as she falls in love.
The Wingate book club launched 10 years ago and remains one of the community’s most popular programs. Since its inception, the club has read more than 120 books.
