ArtProv Gallery will hold an opening reception for its show "Reflection" on November 15 during Gallery Night Providence. The show runs through January 19.
"Reflection" features the most recent body of work by Ken Steinkamp. The pieces reflect his signature theme of life’s enigma by vigorously exploring surfaces on wood and acrylic panels that are enriched with piercing, subtle, impulsive lines, shapes and color. For this exhibition, Steinkamp has added a variety of metal panels to provide a reflective edge and, in turn, invite each viewer to reflect on their own world of shadows, dreams and enigma.
