Wicked Tulips Flower Farm
The first and only “u-pick” tulip farm in New England, Wicked Tulips Flower Farm is a field of Instagram-ready dreams. Thousands of tulips are planted each year in a variety of vibrant colors and breeds, and the farm is open for as long as they have flowers to pick – typically late April through mid-May. Be sure to buy tickets in advance since they sell out quick. Johnston

URI Botanical Garden
A training ground for the prestigious Master Gardener program, the URI Botanical Garden offers visitors a crash course of inspiration on sustainable landscaping. The nearly five acre site, located on the north end of the Kingston campus, is free and open daily from sunrise to sunset. Enjoy a peaceful walk in the water garden, complete with a waterfall, several types of fish, and blue flag irises, or picnic in the Laneway Shade Garden, surrounded by ferns and bleeding-heart flower bushes. Roger Williams Park Botanical Center
The largest indoor garden display in New England, the Botanical Center at Roger Williams Park features many dazzling breeds of flowers, both inside and in their outdoor gardens. Relax by the waterfall, enjoy the aroma of flowers from around the globe, and for artists, bring a sketch pad or camera. Providence

Kinney Azalea Gardens
Featuring over 1,000 species and breeds of rhododendrons and azaleas in many vibrant colors, Kinney Azalea Gardens is the work of four generations of horticulturists. Enter through the iconic “moongate” and stroll along the many paths. South Kingstown

Roger Williams Park Victoria Rose Garden
Enjoy a walk down the paths of the Roger Williams Park Victoria Rose Garden, adorned with cobblestone beds full of thousands of roses. Take in the serene splendor of the dozens of trellises covered with colorful climbing flowers, and the gorgeously restored gazebo. Providence

Green Animals Topiary Garden
Where else are you going to find 80 displays of topiary sculpted from privet, yew, and English boxwood in Rhode Island? Green Animals Topiary is menagere of botanical beauty, and in addition to the shapely shrubs, the expansive site also offers vegetable and herb gardens, orchards, and an old Victorian House overlooking Narragansett Bay. Blithewold Gardens
Blithewold’s
33 acre estate features eight different gardens to explore, each with their own display of remarkable flowers and vegetation. Take a stroll through the water garden, featuring a water lily pond, Japanese maple plantings, and a stone arched bridge, or visit the rock garden, where a raised area of rock is adorned with smaller plants and different species of trees. There’s even a vegetable garden and a majestic bamboo grove to explore. Bristol

Newport Secret Garden Tours
The cat’s out of the bag: the Newport Secret Garden Tours feature gardens from several of the city’s historic and prestigious properties, and with new gardens added every season no tour is ever the same. Tickets for the June tours are $25 on the first day, and admission is good for all three tour days (June 15-17). Don’t forget to bring lunch and picnic among the beautiful fragrant spaces. Newport

Rough Point Garden Tour
The Rough Point Garden Tour takes visitors through the two exquisite gardens on the estate: the kitchen garden, where the vegetation grown is based on historical plant lists and recipes from the 1900s and shared with local food banks; and the formal garden, where 35 different varieties of gorgeous dahlias are grown and the rose arbor with its spectacular American Pillar Rose is displayed.
